HDFC Asset Management Company Limited (HDFC AMC), investment manager to HDFC Mutual Fund (HDFC MF) and one of India's leading mutual fund houses, highlighted the performance of HDFC Innovation Fund, which has delivered 11.19% CAGR since inception (17th July, 2025), marking the completion of one year since its launch. The fund seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation / income by investing in companies that are adopting innovative themes and strategies, enabling investors to participate in businesses driving structural transformation across industries.

Innovation has emerged as one of the most significant drivers of potential long-term wealth creation globally. From artificial intelligence and digitalization to advanced manufacturing, healthcare, financial services and clean energy, businesses that continuously innovate are reshaping industries, improving productivity and creating sustainable competitive advantages. As India advances towards becoming one of the world's largest economies, companies embracing innovation are expected to play an increasingly important role in driving the country's next phase of growth.

Recognizing this structural opportunity, the HDFC Innovation Fund follows a thematic investment approach focused on identifying companies that are leveraging Product Innovation, Process Innovation and Business Model Innovation to create potential long-term shareholder value. Rather than restricting investments to a single sector, the fund has the flexibility to identify innovation-led businesses across industries and market capitalizations, enabling investors to participate in emerging growth opportunities wherever they arise.

Commenting on the fund's performance, Mr. Navneet Munot, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, HDFC Asset Management Company Limited, said, “At HDFC Mutual Fund, we continually keep expanding our investment solutions to advance our mission of becoming the wealth creator for every Indian. Backed by a seasoned investment team and a rigorous, research-led framework, we remain focused on tapping into the long-term wealth creation opportunities offered by innovation-driven businesses.”
